noiz art and tribulations

maxpost incoming!!!

i've been slowly cracking away at figuring out exactly what i want to do for the next year, but i definitely feel like i've gotten back into the mindset of overthinking the quality of my work and where i want it to be. i've always struggled a little bit with letting go of my work, especially when it comes to music. still recovering from trying to give so many shits about who hears it and how much attention i could get, pouring your heart out for free at my age with no real promise or future in it is a leap of faith i'm still battling with internally. i guess a happy medium for myself and y'all is to show a bit of progress on some visual stuff.

concept sketches for a track cover i wanted to expand on, but honestly i dont think i've practiced enough to really feel confident enough in finalizing an actual piece with tanks

i somewhat finished the graffiti sketch for said track, but attempting to render it any other way or composite into a cover feels a bit lackluster and tbh i really like how it turned out with just pencil and paper

blender still from a motion graphic piece i wanted to incorporate into live sets

to be honest i'm still not exactly sure where i want to sit in regards of a visual aesthetic and even the music itself, i'm not exactly sure how to take whats in my head and express it the best way i can. i want to know y'alls thoughts and opinions on releasing music. is it better not to give a shit and just put it out as is whenever i want? or is holding back and reaching for the potential of having a larger audience worth it? these are the questions that will shape my goals of the year, thanks for reading and i hope y'all have a good one.

Those look hella SICK!!!
Post it everywhere, go crazy, show yourself man! All those mean jerks nothing but strangers. They dont give a shit about your music, your band and YOU. So why give shit to THEM? Criticism will always exist. Constructive or fucked, soft or harsh. Thats the internet afterall :P
Ofc its gonna be hard just to ignore the negative, but never forget about the positive. Focus on people who actually care for your hard work. Live, love, laugh, kick haters in the ass. Wish ya luck!

THOSE LOOK AWESOME! HOLY SHIT!

Being someone who's entire aesthetic is inspired off of silly solutions and combinations, the best ones at expressing what goes on in their head are the ones that don't give a damn what they show. All that *should* matter to you is how well you can better systemically output your thoughts and how that will go into optimizing your workflow. That will bring you far more benefits then what you can imagine.

Perhaps in the paths that we come to travel, obstacles and challenges to overcome are looming.
