if someone told me this was a scrapped burial tune from 2009 I'd believe it

I really enjoy how well the guitar parts fit in, normally I feel like most people shoehorn a very distorted or low-mid heavy drowned out guitar but these feel very well put together! the piano seems pretty front and center compared to the rest of the mix but thats not necessarily a complaint :) good work!!

Ey, thanks for the awesome review! :)

I actually just updated this to (hopefully) be better if you're interested!

this fits so well with the art you posted

I really love the drum work on this track, it grooves and fits so well with the melody loop.

this makes me want to go back to my roots and compose more trance oriented shit, I wish I heard more saw arps in this though! the future bass section feels a little out of place and loose compared to the really solid technoesque section. look forward to more horse music

COMPRESSION HYYYEYEEAAAA

oh man with some real hard compression and drive this could be a real runway banger. the melodic sections and some instruments feel quite dry though, I feel as though it could use a bit of atmosphere and variation with that electric piano. not bad at all.

the fm bell/sample with the drums reminds me a lot of a mix between squarepusher and something a genesis composer like matt furniss could've done had they butted heads. the subtle reverb makes it feel nice and airy but I'd also love to hear this slightly more crushed and dry, that's just the old school breakbeat side of me coming out! love it
